Jenny's Intervention episode will re-air tomorrow, December 1st, on A&E. Her episode is shared with a guy named Mike who has OCD.
The camera crew came out to see Jenny at the Ark two weeks ago. They did some filming for this upcoming show...so you will get to see an update of Jenny at the end of the episode.
I'm so proud of her!

Pole dancing an Olympic sport?
If I have anything to say about it, you will see Fitness pole dancing in the 2012 London Olympics. There is a petition you can sign if you agree with me. Check it out: http://www.petitiononline.com/polympic/petition.html
Here is a video clip of Australia's Pole Olymics champion for 2006.
She is amazing! Watch this clip and try to tell me that this doesn't take talent, hard work, training, and dedication. All of this sounds like an Olympic sport to me!
As always, you can visit my pole studio's website @ www.danceogden.com

Which tattoo?
Okay. I have decided that I'm not ready for another baby, and I'm going to wait for the new studio until I can shop around for the perfect spot.
So, I'm gonna do a tattoo. I definately want one on my stomach. I hate my stomach..so I'm hoping that putting something beautiful on it will make looking at it more barable.
I found these two on the internet. Which one do you like? I'm not going to get the "exact" tattoo as these girls...but something similar. But I don't know which one I like.

I also want my right shoulder covered with dozens of cute tattoo's that make one large colorful pretty tattoo. I want one on my sternum, my lower back, my ribs, behind my ear, my collar bone, and one on my butt. Yeah, I'm sure that's pretty much it.
I already have two on my feet and one on my ring finger.
Here's the second one I got in Vegas at Hart & Huntington

Anyway, I love tattoos, and when I'm an old lady, I'm going to be wearing flannel shirts, and long pants with elastic in them. Nobody will see any of these tatto's (except my feet)...and I will know that I lived!

Ogden's dumbest criminals.
My husband and I went to Maverick @ 10:30pm tonight to get some dill pickle seeds.
Right as we pulled up near the front doors, three men ran with beer cases to a Toyota 4 Runner. Just as the driver put her car in to reverse, a police car came speeding over the curb trapping them in their stall. Gun drawn, he told the driver and passengers to get on the ground.
This whole time, I'm wondering "How did the police officer know that this place was going to be robbed"?
The answer came to me from a homeless man who had witnessed what had happened fifteen minutes earlier. As it turns out, the same car with the same guys had been to that exact gas station 15 minutes earlier and committed the same exact crime. The first time, they got away with two large cases of beer. I guess that wasn't enough, because they returned, attempted the crime again..and got caught. I experienced the second crime.
The cop was so smart to wait in a neighboring parking lot to see if they returned. I honestly wouldn't have thought that someone would be so stupid as to return to the scene of a crime and try to commit the same exact crime.
Dumb Dumb Dumb.
The men who robbed the store looked like hardened criminals. I was happy to see them get caught (the whole parking lot was basically cheering when the squad car came to the rescue). The driver however, was a young blond girl who was probably in her late teens maybe early twenties. Why was this girl involved in this?
Anyway. It was exciting!

Getting the "itch"
My life is too stable. I have decided to mix things up. I was thinking of opening a new dance studio in either Layton or Clinton. But at the same time, I feel like I need to have another child soon. My daughter is an only child and has resorted to calling her animals her friends. A studio would be easier, but another baby would make more sense for my family.
What to do. What to do?
I thought that if I hired someone to manage the second store, I could do both..but then I'm not sure. If I do both, I'll have to be shopping for a lease and a crib at the same time. Measuring stripper poles and having monthly doctor visits. Dancing on the pole with a belly...that doesn't seem right...does it?
AAAGH!!!
Maybe I'll just go get a new tattoo. That might keep my restlessness at bay for now.
But if I do open a new studio, should it be in Layton or Clinton?

Too young

I worry about girls who come to me and say "I want to be a stripper". Let me explain that there is nothing wrong with stripping in my eyes as long as the girl is mature and understands that it is not a game or a hobby. It is a life style. I don't offer classes for aspiring strippers and I don't train exotic dancers.
But I have girls at the studio as young as 18 who can not wait to turn 21 so they can be an exotic dancer. Instead of waiting, they jump the gun and go work at the most foul hole in the wall you can find.
Let me educate you a little about Utah law. There are two kinds of strip clubs.
21 and over - Liquor is served so the dancers can only go down to pasties and a g-string.
18 and over - No liquor served, so dancers can go completely nude.
So what does this mean to an aspiring 18 year old? She can go work in an all nude club, but she can't work in a "classier" club that would require that she keep some clothes on.
I don't know what to think. I guess what I am saying is that regardless of age limit, clothing requirements, liquor laws....she will be a stripper if she wants to be. I think they should require that all girls be 21 years of age. If they must allow 18 year olds to strip, then they should be allowed to choose which type of club they dance in. It's like saying to an 18 year old, "Get naked! When you turn 21, you will have earned the right to keep some clothing on."
It's a little confusing to me!
