Intervention day 2

I went to Jenny's birthday party last night. She was actually in good spirits and happy to see everyone. She cut her hair really short and she kept complaining that it wasn't even enough.

She invited me to tag along with her and her sister to a local lounge to listen to some music. The camera's followed. Being followed by a camera wasn't as bad as I thought. I feel like I was able to talk pretty openly with Jenny about some issues.

During the car ride to the lounge, she told me that she was addicted to meth and that she wanted to quit, but she feels like at this point, she needs help. So that was a good sign.

The lounge was creepy. It was a total "stoner" place. Lots of couches, weird art, 100 flavors of coffee, and a guy on a guitar. After the lounge, we took her home. She hadn't had a hit for several hours and her personality took a sudden turn. She was very impatient, rude, and it felt like she was going to expolde at any minute.

So we dropped her off at her house where we knew the inevitable would happen. Only this time, she had the camera crew and producers with her. So we knew that she would be in good hands if anything were to happen.

I will let you know how day 3 goes tomorrow. This will be a 7 day intervention.

Intervention Day 1

Tonight, the camera crew arrives. We will be throwing a birthday party for Jenny. Hopefully she won't be strung out on her meth. I bought her a few presents that I hope she will take with her to treatment.

I'm kinda worried about showing up to the birthday party. As far as Jenny knows, I know nothing of the camera crew or the documentary. So I'm going to have to act surprised to see camera's there. :)

Should be fun.

Meth and the dog door

Two nights ago, my cousin Jenny was on a Meth trip and climbed through her sisters doggy door (she weights about 145). This was at two in the morning. She went to their basement and fell asleep. The next day, her sister went to Salt Lake City to visit the mall and have lunch. Anyway, to make a long story short, the sister found out that she was in her house. She rushed home to find blood splattered on her bathroom ceiling and walls. Jenny had been using in her home.

Jenny said that she needed to borrow her car to go do a hair cut. The sister hasn't seen the car or Jenny since.

It is Jenny's birthday today. Her entire family has tired calling her, but her voice box is full. I tried calling and her druggie friend Crista answered. I pretty much hate Crista and I hope that she will do everyone a favor and overdose. Sorry, but it's true.

So Happy Birthday Jenny!

P.S. Jenny won't let anyone throw her a birthday party. Evidentally, today is the day that one of her friends is getting released from jail. She wants to celebrate her birthday and her friends release at the same time. Nice Jenny, nice.

It's good to know that her priorities are straight.

5 days to intervention!

In case you didn't know, my cousin Jenny is on meth and heroine and will be facing an intervention in 10 day. But, this isn't just any intervention, she will be on the actual show called "Intervetion". It's on A & E.

Anyway, they start filming in five days and I can't wait. She seems to get worse by the day. Today I called her to see if she wanted to come up to my dance studio to hang curtians. She told me that she needed to cut someone's hair at 1:00pm. She said that it would take her until at least 4:30pm. A three and a half hour hair cut? Yeah, she just needed time to cut someone's hair, get high, come off the high, get high again, and then come hang out with me.

She told my grandma the other day that she was going to be on TV to talk about her addiction (she doesn't know that she will be facing an intervention). My grandma knew about the intervention and the TV show, but she played dumb. "Oh yeah Jenny, that sounds like a great idea!"

Anyway, she's got the crummiest friends. I hope they burn in hell for what they've done to her. I know it sounds mean, but I could care less if her friends ever got clean. I don't care about their families, their sad stories, or their pathetic lives. I just want my cousin clean and away from them. She is way better than this. She didn't have bad parents. She doesn't have any illigetimate children. She had a great job, her own house, her own car. She was a fantastic friend, cousin, sister, and daughter. And these creeps have taken all of that away from her.

Burn in hell "Crista"! (That's her druggie friends name).

Having fun with the baby!

We had the best family weekend ever! We took Evan to the indoor pool, the children's museum, bowling, and Grandma & Grandpa's house. The much needed sunshine is pulling our family out of our winter depression :)

That was seconds before a bigger kid came sliding down the slide splashing me and ruining my hair and makeup.

Each time she bowled, she would run back, lay down, and watch her ball go.

She loves her dad. She wouldn't let mom help at all!

Anyway...that was my fun weekend.

Bachelor Pad

My younger brother Tyler is renting a house with a couple of roomates. It's quite a large house in a really upscale neighborhood. He's been wanting me to visit for a while so that he could show off. I finally went, and this is what I found:

First, the negatives:

So anyway, there you have it. My brothers bachelor pad!

Another intervention update

I talked to my cousin last night (the one who is hooked on Meth and Heroine). She was at a gas station and the clerk wouldn't take her check without i.d. She was arguing with the attendant about providing two forms of i.d. She sounded really nice on the phone and she genuinly cared that I had called. She sounded happy to hear from me.

Well, the argument with the gas station clerk escalated and she told me she would call me later.

That was yesterday at 10:00pm. Her family hasn't seen her for 24 hours..I was the last one to talk with her. When you call her phone, it rings and says "The customer you are trying to reach is out of the service area". You have to go pretty far to go out of the service area...we're all wondering where she is. Everybody is very worried about her.

She has a court date tomorrow morning for a stolen check. The television show is waiting for the judge to hand Jenny down her sentence. If she has to do jail time, they will wait until after she is released. If she doesn't get jail time, they will schedule the intervention right away. Actually it won't be right away because her entire family is going on a carribean cruise. They are leaving her for 10 days. Maybe we'd better hope for jail time :)

On a lighter note, Jenny thinks that the television show producer has a crush on her. She told Jodi the other day that she might need to add the producer to her fav 5's because she calls so much. Jenny finally told her that she was using too many minutes on their conversations, the producer then offered to pay for her phone bill. Jenny thinks that she must be a lesbian because why else would another woman want to pay for her phone bill? Pretty funny :)
